This is another song from the album “Forever Moving and Still“. It is based on inner thougts and feelings like isolation, being an outcast (proud of it but disliking it at the same time), being against the establishment and the stereotypes. A good song for those who want to break all the borders, a song for those who reject nationalism (I was born everywhere) and discrimination. An uncomfortable song for those who stick to the same conservative ideas of country, religion, for those who feel proud because it just happened to be born somewhere, for those who believe that another person who was born a few kilometers away is necessarily less important or inferior.
It has been filmed in a field in Ireland during an unusually sunny day. The scenic countryside indeed gave us a lot of help, a clear symbol of freedom. A video clip that is not based on the expensive effects but on the beauty of the landscape and how this is connected with the most important good the humans gain from the moment of birth… freedom to live wherever they want, choose and say whatever they believe without braking the basic rules of social communication, the harmony of nature, the common sense. The nature is also connected with the Earth religions which have their roots in paganism.

“I am truly free only when all human beings, men and women, are equally free. The freedom of other men, far from negating or limiting my freedom, is, on the contrary, its necessary premise and confirmation.” (Mikhail Alexandrovich Bakunin)

Thanks for the comment.
Indeed music is very important in order to create social changes. A lot of musicians in the past changed a lot because of their music and the meaning of their songs, something like David Bowie (which is the main inspiration for the creation of the punk scene), the Sex Pistols other artists like Lenny Bruce etc…
Let’s hope for a change, and let’s hope they won’t censor us here in Europe given the results of the Euro Elections 2009.
